:lol: That's a good question.
For the most part Australians generally like Americans and the British. Right now though obviously there's a good deal of angst against them; Brexit and Trump being the major source of unrest, but at the same time we have our own political problems too. I still want to visit England, Scotland, Ireland and the US and I have a number of British and American friends so I'm cool with it.

I don't have any stastitical data to back it up but I think most people don't judge other countries by their governments' actions or the fringes of their societies.

Yeah, like the immigration camp in Nauru and the treatment of aboriginals?

This thread'll get locked anyway, so it doesn't matter whats said now. But I have no issues with Americans or Aussies, just there governments

You right, I don't agree with UK or European governments. I don't judge the people there. I don't like Canadas either still there nice people there.

Yep, spot on, however other stuff kind of pushes those things aside like the gay marriage plebiscite or the continually childish behavior and mentality of the pollies themselves, but yeah we don't hold stuff like that against the Americans and the British. The typical Aussie axiom is to laugh with them about it. :lol:
