youtube.com/user/SAILORMOONRED - old youtube account (closed).

I think the guy deserves a thread of his own. Did you watch some (or all) of his videos? What do you think about his general style of making his doll/action figures shows? Which videos do you like and which dislike?

EDIT: The new channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/SAILORMOONRED1

WTF?
My patience let me watch two movies. No more. It isn't even funny, it's not hilarious... it's simply poor.

I feel slightly embarrassed just watching his vids  . (He's also got a video up where he's speaking as Jesus Christ.) Also, 3470 upload and just 6 favorites? I would've liked him more if he had spent his time on watching the videos of other Sailor Moon fans.

Anyways, he enjoys what he's doing, so keep it up mr. SAILORMOONRED. :)

I remember watching a few of his videos well over a year ago. At first I thought the videos were being made as jokes, but that thought has long since past.

I just noticed the guy is the same age as me. On one hand that's sort of disturbing. On the other I suppose it's also comforting as now I know that no matter how far I fall in life, things could certainly get worse.

I wanted to download a few of his videos (since watching stuff online is not really convenient for me), so I was wondering, is there something like mass youtube downloader? Like you input two dozens of links, and then it starts downloading flvs automatically. Necessity to input and download each video separately through utilities like keepvid and such kills me. :dead:

Well... *sigh*
What can I say? He looks like he's having fun, which is good? ^_^'

I must admit that this is really just sad (and hilarious) though.
Doesn't he have anything to do? It'd be okay if it was just one or two videos but WOW O_O

I do wish that people would stop making fun of him :( I mean, I think the poor guy has a mental disorder (I hope that is the case, and it seems like that). I can't get through any of his videos, but I don't think anyone should be mean to him ^_^'

I know my other post said some pretty cruel stuff, but my fiance pointed out how he acts (he subscribed to be nice) and I realize that we probably shouldn't be making fun of him ^_^'

SAILORMOONRED's Youtube account is closed and all the videos are gone (over 4,000). I kind of saw something like this happening, and that's why I wanted to backup at least some of his stuff from Youtube. But I procrastinated for too long, unfortunately. :(

His new account is http://www.youtube.com/user/SAILORMOONRED1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xDBDpC6rt0 <-- In this video he says somebody has guessed the password for his Youtube account and deleted everything. It looks like he doesn't have any backups for any of those 4,000+ videos, so now he decided to make new ones.

Because it was marked "esoteric" by a sysop, but it happened after I posted the comment above.

Whatever. Did anybody watch the videos from his new account? He made a long series of videos discussing why hacking and misbehaving on Youtube is wrong.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rVnwIw5J-Q <-- Do you mean this one? He seems to be in good mood, since he rarely smiles in other videos. :)

At first I thought he just slipped once, but after watching a few more videos I figured out he always pronounces "Tuxedo Max" instead of "Tuxedo Mask". He also made quite a few other "adjustments" of the Sailor Moon universe, including names, characters' relationships, and more. ^_^

On a more serious note, while his videos look (and sound) crazy at first, many of them contain in-depth analysis of many topics commonly discussed in the fandom, e.g., "are Sailor Mercury's powers useless?", "what manufacturer makes better Sailor Moon dolls?", "what are bad and good sides of the USA dub?", etc. So they are not as stupid as some people probably assumed.

The biggest problem with his videos is to get past the first (usually negative) impression and to adjust oneself to his rather unique narration style.

Is he a member here? Cause I don't want to see him discussing phalic symbol topics related to SM.

*sigh* This guy is so.. He uploads (if your kicking yourself for subbing him) every 2 secs. of him playing with dolls. He has a billion subs. and everyone is praising him. And that is just ridiculous! So one needs to tell him to grow up and just go away (in my opinion) I'm sick of seeing him playing with dolls pronouncing a lot of names wrong and yes I kid you not insult Naoko Takeuchi and japanese version of Sailor Moon.

That's one of things that make them funny. Many scenarios for his shows are quite silly and random, and yes, he pronounces a lot of names wrong. I think that if everything was professionally organized and he was retelling only canonical stuff from the series, people would get bored with it after watching five episodes or so.

I thought I'd check it out but the video that came up on his page, with Sailor Venus.....scared me at least.

All his voices sound kind of like Mr Garrison from South Park =\ and those dolls are like his Mr Hat..... :eeklez:
